A KEIGHLEY teenager, who was caught with class A drugs in a Skipton park, has been given a 27-month custodial sentence after admitting possessing heroin and cocaine with intent to supply.

Bradford Crown Court heard that 19-year-old Mohshin Idariya, of Kinara Close, Keighley, was already serving a 27-month sentence, imposed in April, for supplying drugs to an undercover police officer in the summer of 2016.

Prosecutor Paul Nicholson said the latest offence took place in Aireville Park, Skipton, on September 11 last year. Police approached Idariya, after being alerted to a report of drug dealing. He was found to be in possession of ten wraps of heroin and crack cocaine, worth £140, and £235 cash.

Idariya pleaded guilty to two charges of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply, one of possessing criminal property and one of possessing a small amount of cannabis.
